I'm the owner and head coach at OnTrack Academic Coaching where I help high school & college students and graduate students & pre-tenure faculty design & reach their academic goals.
As an Educational Psychologist, my research interests include understanding motivational processes in college learners and academic & career trajectories. I am also interested in how technology can foster both motivation and learning and help aid meaningful reflection. In 2007 I received a PhD in Education and Psychology from the University of Michigan. From 2007-2008 I was a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute for Social Research’s Research Center for Group Dynamics and the Achievement Research Lab at the University of Michigan. In 2007-2008 I lived in Berkeley, CA, teaching Child Development at Laney College. From 2008-2011, I was a visiting asst. professor of psychology at The Ohio State University in Mansfield. Currently, I'm an adjunct professor at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, and owner of OnTrack Academic Coaching. I’m also a marginally-dedicated-runner, a dog-lover, a chicken-owner, and a vegan-food-aficionado. Read all about it here: Bexley Chicken Blog OnTrack Academic Blog OnTrack Blog on Psychology Today
